SenSura Mio Flex , convex light plate with adhesive coupling for Colostomy is a plate consisting of a hydrocolloid-based adhesive and a floating ring equipped with a guide for the correct positioning of the collection bag.
Plate : the adhesive, designed thanks to BodyFit Technology, is elastic, newly designed and made up of two layers; it has an oval shape and its elastic structure guarantees adhesion, safety and protection of the skin. The innermost layer has a special lattice structure that incorporates small hydrocolloids: in contact with the manure it transforms into a cohesive and compact gel, with high resistance to erosion. This creates a protective seal that reduces the onset of infiltrations together with the maintenance of the correct skin moisture gradient, favoring tissue repair. The outermost layer has an elastic capacity of the adhesive which allows this layer to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin, offering instant high adhesion and consequent safety in use.
It is available in a version that can be cut to the desired size (following the guide printed on the protective mask of the adhesive surface).
It has a simple cutting guide: the cutting circles are soft, there are different cutting sizes with strong contrast for users with low vision, the circles do not intersect.
The SenSura Mio range has a turquoise colored sticker removal tab to make it more visible, and with an easy thumb grip.
The plate features the innovative lattice inside the shell that guarantees fit and flexibility without any compromise or loss of performance by either of the two elements. The reticulum has been designed to move and adapt to all types of abdomen.
Convex Light or light convex plate: it has a 6 mm convexity to manage areas that need convexity but not with high curvatures.It guarantees the right stability to allow the stoma to protrude at skin level.
The plate is equipped with a special floating ring equipped with a guide for the correct positioning of the collection bag.
It does not contain Latex.

Store in the original intact packaging away from light and humidity, at a constant temperature between 15 ° C and 30 ° C.
The product does not contain ecotoxic components therefore it does not require special disposal protocols. Do not disperse in the environment as it is not biodegradable.
Validity for intact packaging: 3 years from the date of production.
