Miopex® Omega Pharma Food Supplement

Food supplement based on zinc, lutein, selenium, oligomeric proatocyanidins and antioxidant vitamins that favor the physiological functions of the eye.
These active ingredients play a synergistic and complementary role in cases of cellular degeneration and rarefaction and consequent alteration of visual functions, especially in the dysmetabolisms of the macula lutea, of the retinal epithelia and of the crystalline lens. It is therefore indicated in cellular degeneration of the macula and retina, in cataracts and in myopic and / or former myopic in which any surgical interventions, due to the condition of the refractive vice, could not intervene on the pre-existing degenerative cellular damage or on their evolution.
Miopex is particularly active in all cases of degenerative cellular changes affecting the macula lutea and performs the important task of regulating the biochemical and physiological processes of the retinal cells, preventing alterations in visual functions and stimulating visual sensitivity.
Lutein
It is a carotenoid that cannot be synthesized by the body; an external contribution from him is therefore essential. It is concentrated, under genetic control, in the macula, in the retina and in the crystalline where it plays the role of a natural filter protecting against photochemical oxidative damage.
It absorbs the blue light before it reaches the photoreceptors of the pigmented epithelium and concentrates in the rods carried by the HDL lipoproteins; therefore reduces the risk of cellular degeneration of the macula and retina also reducing the development of opacity of the lens in old age.
Procyanidolic oligomers
They have a very strong antioxidant activity and protection of the retinic capillaries.
