Absorbent Polyurethane Foam Dressing

Description

Lyofoam® Max is a highly absorbent dressing, consisting of polyurethane foam and support film with high permeability.

Soft, conformable and comfortable: Lyofoam® Max is a dressing designed for the management of moderately to highly exuding wounds.

The high capacity to absorb and manage fluids, coupled with the low risk of maceration and leaks, allows the dressing to remain in place for an extended period.

• Waterproof outer film, barrier to the penetration of bacteria and viruses

• It can be used under compression bandages

How to use Lyofoam® Max

• Cleanse the wound area and select a suitable size of Lyofoam® Max.
• Place the foam directly on the wound surface, with a margin of at least 2 cm beyond the area to be treated.
• Secure Lyofoam® Max with an appropriate bandage, such as Tubifast®, Tubigrip® or plaster such as Mefix®.
