All-in-one thin polyurethane foam dressing with border.

Mepilex® Border Lite is an all-in-one thin polyurethane foam dressing for low exuding wounds. It can be used for chronic injuries and acute wounds that heal by secondary intention, such as post-operative incisions, traumatic injuries or sutured wounds.

Its discreet design makes it extremely comfortable to wear. Its thin construction is extremely flexible, making this dressing effective for managing wounds in difficult areas such as hands, feet and fingers.

This dressing includes Safetac® , the original adhesive silicone contact layer that minimizes pain. It is designed to gently adapt to the skin without sticking to the moist wound so that it can be removed easily without damaging the skin. This means less pain for patients. It can be repositioned without compromising its adhesive power. Patients can also wear it while showering.

When to use Mepilex® Border Lite

Mepilex Border Lite is an all-in-one thin polyurethane foam dressing with border. It is designed for the management of a wide range of low exudating wounds. Chronic injuries, such as diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers. And acute wounds that heal by secondary intention, such as post-operative incisions or traumatic injuries (incl. Sutured wounds).

This soft, conformable, edged polyurethane foam dressing allows for a moist wound environment to be maintained. This way, the wound will be in an optimal environment for healing.

It is recommended to use Mepilex® Border Lite:

• for the treatment of low exuding chronic wounds, for example diabetic foot ulcers
