Description

Breathable, absorbent dressing for low to moderately exuding wounds

Mepore® is a self-adhesive, breathable and absorbent dressing for a wide range of low to moderately exuding wounds - such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions. The dressing adheres gently and securely to the skin thanks to a water-based adhesive that does not irritate the skin; moreover, it is breathable to avoid the maceration of the wound.

• Solvent-free, water-based adhesive ensures gentle bonding
• The wound contact layer has a low level of adhesiveness
• Breathable to prevent maceration and help maintain a moist wound environment
• The easy-to-remove backing paper is aseptic
• The fabric is conformable and flexible to allow for body movements

When to apply Mepore®

Mepore can be used for a wide range of low to moderately exuding wounds, such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions.

How to apply Mepore®

• Open the package and remove the dressing.
• Grasp both overlapping backing papers, exposing the adhesive surface to allow for initial dressing fixation.
• Place the dressing on the skin without tightening it and gently remove the protective papers. Firmly smooth out the adhesive edge to achieve adequate adhesion. Do not stretch the dressing during application.
