Description
Complete dietetic feed for cats formulated for the dissolution of struvite-based stones and for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence. It is also formulated for the nutritional management of cats with feline FUS urological syndrome.
Contains nucleotides to support the immune system, cranberry to support the urinary tract, xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS) to preserve the intestinal microbiota, and the formulation is characterized by urine acidifying properties and a low concentration of magnesium.
Grain-free formula.
No cruelty test.
Ingredients
Chicken liver, animal fat (99.5% purified pork fat), tapioca, dried egg, salmon, potato protein, fish oil (99.5% purified salmon oil), hydrolysed animal protein, minerals, hydrolysed yeasts 1 % (of which 44% free nucleotides) pea fibre, xylo-oligosaccharide (0.4%), dried cranberry (0.02%).
Analytical constituents : crude protein: 8.7% - crude fiber: 0.6% - crude fat: 6.7% - crude ash: 1.9% - humidity: 75% - calcium: 0.25% - phosphorus: 0 ,11% - sodium: 0.2% - magnesium: 0.01% - potassium: 0.11% - chlorides: 0.48% - sulphur: 0.02% - total taurine: 0.13%. Urine acidifying additives: DL-methionine.
Nutritional additives (per kg) : vitamin D3 225 IU/kg; vitamin E (all-rac-alpha-tocopheryl acetate) 50 mg; selenium (sodium selenite 0.04 mg) 0.02 mg; manganese (manganous sulphate monohydrate 13 mg) 4.3 mg; zinc (zinc oxide 26 mg): 21mg; copper [copper (II) sulfate pentahydrate 6.7 mg] 1.7 mg; iron [iron sulphate (II) monohydrate 21 mg] 7 mg; iodine (anhydrous calcium iodate 1.8 mg) 0.9 mg; L-cystine: 600 mg; technically pure DL-methionine: 800 mg; L-carnitine: 300 mg; taurine: 200 mg.
How to use
Administer 170 g per 5 kg adult cat per day.
To be served at room temperature. Unlimited water is recommended.
Recommended period of use from 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite-based stones and up to 6 months for the reduction of recurrence of struvite stones.
