Medical device capable of effectively relieving symptoms related to swelling of the stomach (aerophagia) and intestine (meteorism) due to accumulation of gas.It alleviates cramps and associated pains and prevents flatulence and belching.

Components

Mechanism of action
The effectiveness of the device is due to the anti-foaming action of the simethicone, combined with the adsorbing action of the activated carbon against intestinal gas: the action is therefore based exclusively on mechanical phenomena. The two-layer conformation of the tablet allows to release about 50% of the ingredients in the gastric environment within 15 minutes of taking the device, while the complete disintegration of the tablet takes place in the intestinal environment within 1 hour. The components are not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and do not interfere with the absorption of nutrients.

How to use
Adults - it is recommended to take 1 or 2 tablets at the end of each main meal up to a maximum of 4 tablets per day.
Children aged 14 to 18 - 1 tablet at the end of each main meal up to a maximum of 2 tablets per day.
Remove the tablet from the blister taking care not to break it and take it with the help of a glass of water.

Known side effects
At the recommended doses, a brown discoloration of the faeces may be observed due to the presence of charcoal. The phenomenon is completely normal and does not imply any pathological significance. There are no known side effects in the medium / long term.The device does not adversely affect sensory abilities (level of attention, ability to drive or perform activities.

Warnings and Precautions
Do not use under the age of 14.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
In case of people with swallowing difficulties it is advisable to take the medical device with plenty of water.
Do not use the device after the expiry date stated on the package and blister.
Do not use in case of damaged packaging.
Each tablet is for single use only and must be removed from the package only immediately before taking; do not try to reuse partially used tablets (crushed or broken) or extracted from the blister in unknown times, as this method of use could involve risks of product contamination.
Do not use in case of known gastric or intestinal lesions.
Do not use in case of intestinal blockage.
Do not take the medical device concomitantly with other oral medicinal devices: the adsorbing power of activated carbon and delsimethicone could reduce its effectiveness. Consult your doctor in case of pharmacological therapies in progress.
Simethicone can hinder the effect of some diagnostic reagents used, such as guaiac gum.

Contraindications and limitations of use
The intake of the device is not recommended in case of known hypersensitivity of the user to one of the components.
As insufficient data is available to support its use in the event of pregnancy or during breastfeeding, in these cases, use the device only in cases of real necessity and only after consulting your doctor.
