It is a very particular Taila, its characteristics and applications make it a unique product.
Murivenna Taila has an ancient formulation documented in specific Ayurvedic texts and is above all known in the more traditional areas and in particular dedicated to the famous Indian martial art Kalarippayattu, practiced above all in southern India. Its name in Malayalam language is composed of two words: murivu = lesion and enna = oil.

It is a Taila with a complex composition, there are five plants processed in a Coconut oil base, known for its pacifying properties of Vata and Pitta. A particular component used in the preparation and cooking of this taila is the Tandulodaka or the water in which the rice has been washed 4 times and then soaked for 9 hours. Special soothing, softening and anti-inflammatory properties are traditionally attributed to this water.
Since ancient times this Ayurvedic oil has been used essentially for the balancing of Vata and its manifestations of imbalance which can give rise to weakening and injuries of various kinds. Its proven effectiveness still sees it used today both in the more classic and traditional Ayurvedic areas and in the most modern sports environments.
