Nutriva MY BABY D DHA is a food supplement based on liquid algae oil rich in DHA and vitamin D, both of vegetable origin. DHA is obtained from microalgae of the genus Schizochytrium sp, while vitamin D is extracted from lichen.

Within a few years, children undergo significant structural and functional changes, requiring adequate nutrition to support these important and rapid changes. In particular, there is a need for a sufficient amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids including DHA, which is considered a critical nutrient for normal development in childhood, being the main fatty acid with structural brain functions. For the normal development of visual abilities of infants up to 12 years of age, a daily intake of 100 mg of DHA is required. The association with vitamin D helps in the normal absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus, in the normal functioning of the immune system and in the normal growth and development of children's bones.
