Surgical face masks for medical use - Type IIR

Type IIR surgical face masks for medical use in 5 assorted colors (black, light green, blue, yellow, red), non-reusable and non-sterile. Their use is recommended where it is not possible to adopt the minimum anti-contagion safety distance:

• In the workplace;
• In health and hospital settings;
• In crowded areas or for public use.

Primarily used to create a barrier between the wearer's mouth and nose, IIR masks have greater resistance to the projection (splashing) of body fluids onto the outer surface than Type I or II.
Tested to ensure specific levels of protection against the penetration of saliva and other biological fluids through the mucous membranes of the nose and mouth. The masks provide protection against the spread of influenza both by blocking the droplets of respiratory secretions emitted by sick people who wear them, and by preventing the same droplets or sprays of secretions or other biological fluids from reaching the mucous membranes of the nose and mouth.

How to use

Before using the mask, wash your hands with disinfectant, alcohol or soap.

Warnings

The mask is disposable, not reusable or recyclable.

The mask is able to filter some contaminants, but incorrect use can cause contagion and consequent illness, even death.
