Narivent Spray DMG Italia - Medical Device

Medical device with osmotic action with anti-edema and phlogolytic effect .

Indicated:

• to reduce nasal obstruction in patients suffering from hypertrophy of the nasal turbinates and specific vasomotor rhinitis (allergic rhinitis) or non-specific
• in the treatment of edema associated with rhinosinusal and adenoid inflammatory states, acute and chronic in the treatment and prophylaxis of post-surgical recurrences of nasal polyposis
• in the pre and post-surgical treatment of nasal sinus pathologies

Composition

Mannitol, glycerol, dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, PEG / PPG copolymer, disodium EDTA, sodium N-hydroxymethylglycinate, polysorbate 20, potassium sorbate, sodium hydrate, purified water, natural flavors.

How to use

• Remove the protective cap, place your thumb on the base of the bottle, your index and middle fingers on the dispenser flaps and press them down. Then release them. Repeat this operation until the first atomization is obtained.
• Slightly bend the head forward and apply the product to the affected nostril without inhaling during application.
• In pre-surgical use, administer to the patient only if it has been ascertained the absence of hypersensitivity or intolerance towards the product.
• Adults and children: we recommend two sprays per nostril twice a day or according to medical opinion.

There are no known side effects.

Warnings

• The product may transiently give a slight sense of nasal itching and slight sneezing during the first applications.
• The specific mechanism of action of Narivent spray determines transient osmotic rhinorrhea after its application.
• In the case of pre-surgical dressing, make sure there is no hypersensitivity or intolerance towards the product.
• Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the product components.
• In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Close the nebulizer tightly after use.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
• Keep away from heat sources and out of the reach of children.
• Avoid mixed use of the product.
• Do not swallow.
• Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
