How to use

Write Name / Surname and date of collection on each label. Attach adhesive labels to each of the tubes to be used for collection. Correct sample identification is essential for in-laboratory identification.
Open the pouch and grabbing the swab by the handle, perform the oropharyngeal or nasopharyngeal sampling or both with the same swab.
Then open the tube and insert the swab, be careful not to leak the liquid inside the tube.
Bend and break the swab at the red marked fracture point while holding the tube away from the face.
Then close the tube and shake it gently.
Place the tube in the bag together with the absorbent paper provided in the kit. The envelope must be closed with a special adhesive part.
Store collected samples in the refrigerator until shipment.
At the time of shipment, insert the samples inside the polystyrene kit for refrigerated transport following the packaging instructions present with the kit.
To carry out the analyzes, it is necessary to completely fill 1 oropharyngeal swab, or 1 nasopharyngeal swab or an oral-nasopharyngeal swab. Lower quantities cannot be accepted as they are insufficient to complete the tests.

Warnings

Do not use the kit beyond the expiration date. The expiry date is indicated on the label on the side of the package.
Do not mix components from different packs.
Be careful not to contaminate the devices in the kit before and after collection.
For collection, use only the material supplied by Natrix.
NatrixLab will only deal with the disposal of medical waste, adopting the standard precautions normally observed for microbiological hazardous constituents. The disposal of non-medical waste used and the material used for collection (lancets, plasters, disinfectant wipes, if present in the package) is the responsibility of the customer.
This kit cannot be reused.

storage

Store at a temperature between 2 ° C and 25 ° C, in a dry place protected from sunlight.
The integrity of the packs and kit components guarantees their sterility.
The packs of the kit components must be opened only at the moment of use.
Validity for intact packaging: 18 months.
