SuperBran Med is a food supplement based on Arabinoxilano, a hemicellulose naturally contained in many plant fibers (e.g. in rice), which plays a very important structural and above all functional role within the cells.

Arabinoxylan ORYZALOSE® is obtained by hydrolyzing the hemicellulose of purple rice, an ancient rice of Asian origin, through the use of cellulase and hemicellulase, and converting it into smaller molecules. Oryzalose then undergoes fermentation using yeasts, so that glucose is consumed and xylose, arabinose and galactose are formed. Numerous active ingredients are obtained ranging from polysaccharides to oligosaccharides which have been shown to have a strong immunostimulating effect. GABA (gamma aminobutyric acid) and anthocyanins are obtained as by-products during the fermentation process. GABA has a calming effect and anthocyanins have antioxidant properties, so it is conceivable that Oryzalose can be used to counteract the symptoms of aging.
The biological activity of Oryzalose has been studied in depth and it has been shown that it is able to activate macrophages, natural killer and antitumor cells, as well as having an antioxidant and support activity in conditions of particular stress [(The peculiarity of fermented ancient rice and possibility of application as a functional food: H. Maeda, S. Ito, T. Miura, Y. Kato, The Japanese Academy for Clinical Complementary and Alternative Medicine (2006)].
Another extremely interesting study showed just how the intake of Oryzalose led to an improvement in the quality of life in terms of rest, appetite and general physical condition, suggesting that the immunoregulatory activity of Oryzalose was the basis of this improvement [ The Safety and QOL improvement Effects of the Oral Administration of the Fermented Oryza Sativa subsp japonica in Elderly People: S Hirose, K. The raw materials used are GMO FREE and ARE NOT RADIATED.

Does not contain: dairy products, lactose, sucrose, wheat, soy, artificial colors, artificial preservatives, artificial flavors.

Recommended dose : 3 tablets a day to complete the main meals.

Precautions for use : Do not use during pregnancy and lactation.
