Description
The Natura+ Open Bottom Bag is a two-piece collection device.
On the bag there is a circular flange equipped with an interlocking rail. This structure allows, thanks to the 8 teeth, the hermetic coupling to the relative plate in an agile and safe way. The bag is equipped with a filter and is mainly indicated for ileotomised patients who want a safe device that is easy to apply, remove and empty.
Furthermore, the exclusive InvisiClose closure system, without rigid closure clamps, allows you to maximize comfort, hygiene and ease of use.
Technical features
The system consists of two parts:
- skin barrier, to be left on the abdomen for about 2 days
- collection bag, to be replaced if necessary.
The bag is equipped with an advanced activated carbon filter in the form of a compound that allows the escape and deodorization of intestinal gases. The presence of an internal protective film and the position of the filter, centered and above the bag, prevents any contact with the effluents.
The bag has a symmetrical shape and is covered with a soft non-woven fabric welded at the edges. The coating is present on both sides of the bag in the opaque version and on the body side in the transparent version. The size of the bag with the bottom flat is: 28.2cm long and 15.2cm wide, while the length with the bottom folded is 19.5cm.
The exclusive InvisiClose closure system consists of: staggered semi-rigid flaps in washable plastic material (7.1 cm wide), closure system in washable plastic Velcro and Lock-it pocket inside which to fold the bottom of the bag.
The coupling with flange allows for maximum hermetic sealing and security against infiltrations. On the flange of the bag there are two plastic tabs to allow the use of the abdominal belt. The soft, water-repellent cover sheet guarantees comfort and discretion and allows the skin to breathe. The filter allows effective and long-lasting deodorization of gases. A special sticker allows for total occlusion, useful for example during a bath or shower.
The InvisiClose closure system, being made of entirely waterproof and washable material, allows the device to be emptied easily and completely hygienic whenever the need arises. A slight pressure on the ends of the white flaps on the bottom of the bag allows easy emptying of the bag which can, at will, be folded into the special Lock-it pocket.
Does not contain latex.
