Natura Toscana Einkorn Spelled Decorticated
Triticum monococcum or small spelled is the most ancient type of spelled cultivated. Due to its poor agricultural yield it has been replaced over time with more resistant and productive varieties. In recent years, in some areas of Italy and also in Tuscany, its cultivation has been resumed due to its peculiar nutritional characteristics. In cultivation, a cycle of annual rotations is followed to maintain the right balance in the soil. It needs a short soak of 2 hours and cooks in about 30 minutes.
