Natura Toscana Wheat Tortiglioni Senatore Hair Probios
Natura Toscana pasta is produced with the ancient variety of durum wheat "Senatore Cappelli", cultivated in Italy at the beginning of the twentieth century, then replaced over time by more productive varieties. Today the "Senatore Cappelli" wheat has been rediscovered and is cultivated in a few privileged areas of Italy, including Tuscany, by virtue of the excellent organoleptic qualities. The characteristics of this grain and the slow drying give the pasta a full-bodied consistency and a strong taste, which brings back to the flavors of the past, when the rhythms were those dictated by nature. Natura Toscana Senatore Cappelli "Semintegral" pasta is made with durum wheat semolina, which gives it a lighter color than that of wholemeal semolina, but a more intense taste and a more important fiber content than a more sieved “white” semolina pasta.
