Characteristics
It is a herbaceous plant with tuberous root, it is grown only in the Peruvian Andes between 3,800 and 4,500 meters above sea level. It is said that its high nutritional and medicinal value is due to its ability to resist the inconveniences of the climate of the Puna (Plateau).
