Nausea-Alt
Child
Description
Acupressure bracelet, is to stimulate the P6 Neiguan acupressure point and help relieve nausea and vomiting.
Without drugs, it does not induce drowsiness.
How to use
The bracelet works by applying pressure to the P6 Neiguan (acupressure) point on each wrist. To find the P6 Neiguan point, place the middle three fingers on the inside of the wrist with the edge of the third finger just below the first crease of the wrist. The P6 Neiguan point is located under the first finger between the two tendons (flexors) of the wrist.
Place the button facing in over the P6 Neiguan point. Repeat the process for the other wrist.
On children do this research with their own fingers.
To be effective, one band should be worn on each wrist. Efficacy may vary based on individual patient characteristics. It can take up to five minutes to become effective, but usually the effect lasts as long as the wraps are worn. For best results, wear the wraps before starting your journey.
Greater relief can be achieved by applying finger pressure directly to the button.
The acupressure cuff can be washed with a mild detergent in warm water up to five times. Replace when the bands no longer adhere to the wrist.
Warnings
Discontinue use if product causes discomfort.
Do not use if broken or damaged.
The acupressure cuff provides symptomatic relief, it does not cure or remove the cause of the nausea. Nausea and vomiting can be associated with serious conditions. If symptoms persist, see a doctor right away.
The acupressure cuff should only be used on the P6 Neiguan point. Use anywhere else will not relieve nausea.
If skin irritation under the bandage occurs, or if pain or swelling occurs, remove the bandage immediately and consult a physician if these symptoms persist.
Keep out of reach of children. Button is a choking hazard if removed.
Individuals with known or suspected circulation problems should consult a physician before use.
If death or serious deterioration in health has occurred as a result of using the acupressure cuff, please report it to the manufacturer and the appropriate authority in your country.
