Nebial 3% what it is for

CE medical device, class I. Hypertonic saline solution at 3% with the addition of hyaluronic acid ready to use. The 3% saline solution, contained in Nebial 3% vials, is useful for the decongestion of the nasal mucosa and has a fluidifying effect on the mucus; it is recommended for daily cleaning of the nasal cavities especially in case of colds, rhinitis, sinusitis and in all situations of congestion of the nasal mucosa. The hyaluronic acid contained in Nebial 3% vials favors the humidification of the nasal cavities and makes the saline solution more pleasant. Nebial 3% vials has a decongestant action on the nasal mucous membranes as well as a fluidifying effect on the mucus, which is why it is recommended in case of colds, rhinitis, sinusitis and in all situations of congestion of the nasal mucous membranes. The solution contained in the single-dose vials can be used for aerosol therapy.

How to use Nebial 3%

To use Nebial 3% vials correctly you need:

• Detach a single-dose vial and open it by twisting the cap;
• Keep the head tilted to one side (never backwards), gently insert the spout of the vial into the upper nostril and press lightly;
• Repeat in the other nostril after turning the head to the other side.

In case of using the solution for aerosol therapy, it is recommended to follow the instructions of the device.
It is advisable to respect the following frequency of use:

• Infants: instill a few drops in each nostril, several times a day, usually before feeding or before bed.
• Children: 1-3 washes per nostril, 2-3 times a day.
• Adults: 2-4 washes per nostril, 2-3 times a day.

Warnings for Nebial 3%

It is recommended that you keep the internal instructions with the product. Non-injectable solution. In case of using the aerosol solution, it is recommended to follow the instructions of the device. The product must be stored away from light and heat sources. After use, close the vial immediately: the contents of the vial must be reused within the next 12 hours. Do not use after the expiration date. The expiry date indicated refers to the intact and correctly stored product. The product is intended for use on intact mucosa. In children under one year of age, use on the advice of a doctor. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and contact your doctor. Keep out of reach of children.
