NEBIAL 3% KIT is indicated for daily cleansing of the nasal cavities, especially in case of colds, rhinitis, sinusitis and in all situations of congestion of the nasal mucosa.

NEBIAL 3% KIT allows the nebulization of NEBIAL 3% (a 3% hypertonic saline solution at physiological pH with the addition of ready-to-use hyaluronic acid) using the Spray-sol® nebulizer device.

The Spray-sol® nebulizer is a device specifically designed to perform topical treatments of the nasal and sinus cavities, and allows the rapid administration of the solution by nebulization in particles of size between 10 and 20 microns, suitable for the treatment of the upper airways. The specially designed shape and the soft material used for the regulator make it particularly suitable for the child's nostril, but it can also be used by adults.

NEBIAL 3% has a decongestant action on the nasal mucous membranes as well as a fluidifying effect on the mucus. It helps the drainage of secretions and is therefore useful for maintaining cleansing of the nasal passages especially in case of colds, allergic rhinitis, rhinosinusitis and sinusitis; in general it allows to clear the blocked nose improving breathing.

The presence of hyaluronic acid makes NEBIAL 3% suitable for administration in children. Hyaluronic acid is a substance produced by our body, which has the task of maintaining the hydration of the tissues. It adheres to the surface of the mucosa and, by retaining water in a physiological way, forms a protective film that relieves the irritated mucosa. It favors the humidification of the nasal cavities and improves the palatability and pleasantness of the hypertonic solution.

The solution contained in the single-dose vials can be used for aerosol therapy.

COMPOSITION

Each vial of NEBIAL 3% contains: Sodium chloride, Sodium hyaluronate, Dibasic potassium phosphate, Monobasic potassium phosphate, Water.

NEBIAL 3% does not contain preservatives.

METHOD OF USE

Detach a single-dose vial and open it by twisting the cap

Connect the vial to the syringe included in the package and draw up the solution to be nebulised

Secure the syringe, filled with the 3% NEBIAL solution to be nebulized, by screwing it onto the special inlet nozzle of the Spray-sol® nebulizer

In infants and young children (under 3 years and in any case depending on the level of cooperation) it is necessary to wash in a lying position on one side, keeping the head reclined to one side and gently inserting the Spray-sol® nebulizer in the upper nostril . Push firmly on the plunger of the syringe to atomise the solution.

In older children and adults, insert the Spray-sol® nebulizer into one nostril, keeping the torso upright and without reclining the head. Breathe in and at the same time push vigorously on the syringe plunger to nebulize the solution. Release the plunger of the syringe before exhaling.

Repeat the operations of point 4 also for the other nostril, trying to divide the solution contained in the syringe equally between the two nostrils

Before storing the device, rinse the syringe under running water and wash the Spray-sol® nebulizer

Infants and children: 1-3 washes with the Spray-sol® nebulizer per nostril, 2-3 times a day.

Adults: 2-4 washes with the Spray-sol® nebulizer per nostril, 2-3 times a day.

CLEANING THE SPRAY-SOL® NEBULIZER

The Spray-Sol® nebulizer is intended for single patient use and can be used multiple times. It is therefore very important to clean thoroughly after each use to allow optimal functioning and duration.

Wash the Spray-sol® nebulizer under lukewarm running water, with the possible addition of a drop of neutral soap (non-abrasive). Before storage, dry the Spray-sol® nebulizer with a soft cloth.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Only use the product for its intended use.

The use of the Spray-sol® nebulizer by children or non self-sufficient people must be under the supervision of an adult who has read the instructions for use.

Do not use Buona Spray-sol under 3 months of age.

Store the product away from humidity, light and heat sources.

Before each use, check that the Spray-sol® and syringe devices are not damaged; if they are damaged, do not use them for nebulization.

For the frequency of use, follow the instructions on the label of the solution to be nebulized or the doctor's instructions.

For hygienic reasons, the Spray-sol® nebulizer is intended for one patient only, but can be reused for several nebulisations.

The supplied syringe can be reused several times as it is intended for nasal use.

Use the Spray-sol® nebulizer as long as mechanical integrity and ability to nebulize the solution are maintained. It is advisable not to use the Spray-sol® nebulizer and syringe beyond 6 months from the first use.

Return the Spray-sol® nebulizer and syringe to the special container after each use.

Keep the box of Buona Spray-sol where the lot number is indicated.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
