nec MEDIFOOD - Food for Special Medical Purposes

NEC® is a food for special medical purposes, protein-free with low electrolyte content and high energy value and can be used on the doctor's recommendation for:

• diets that require a high energy intake;
• low-protein diets with minimal electrolyte intake;
• integrate nutrition in acute and chronic kidney diseases (minimum intake of phosphorus).

Dosage

The amount of product to be taken daily must be calculated according to the judgment of the doctor, taking into account the age, body weight, caloric needs and clinical conditions of the subject. The measuring cup attached to the package contains 5 g of product, equal to 25.4 kcal (106 kJ).

How to use

Take the product in addition to any liquid or solid food.

Method of conservation

Store the product at a temperature between 8 ° C and 25 ° C, in a cool and dry place, away from light and direct heat sources. Once opened, the product can be consumed for 4 weeks if kept tightly closed and away from heat sources. After use, carefully close the box. The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored, in unopened package.
