Sinuxol

Sinuxol® is a medical device indicated as an adjuvant for the treatment of the typical symptoms of colds, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis, such as nasal congestion and irritation of the nasal mucosa, thanks to the presence of seawater in hypertonic solution and components of vegetable origin. In children over three years of age, the product can also be used with an aerosol device.

Composition

Hydroglycerine extract of Grapefruit seeds ( Citrus grandis Osbeck), hydro-glycerine extract of Drosera ( Drosera ramentacea Burch), hydro-glycerine extract of Echinacea ( Echinacea angustifolia DC), hydroglycerine extract of Wild thyme ( Thymus serpyllum L.), essential oil of Mountain pine ( Pinus mugo Turra), essential oil of white thyme ( Thymus vulgaris L.), sea water, polysorbate 20, lactic acid, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, water.

How to use

Nasal or aerosol wash: the product can be sprayed with all types of aerosol devices (piston, ultrasound, etc.). Instructions for the reuse of Sinuxol: in case of partial use of the single-dose vial, close it again using the special cap (upside down) and store in the refrigerator. However, use the remaining product within 24 hours of first opening.

Dosage

Apply 1-2 times a day. For a faster resolution of cold symptoms and for the removal of excess mucus, it is recommended to apply 1 ampoule twice a day (one ampoule in the morning and one in the evening) for 7 consecutive days. In case of individual predisposition to irritative phenomena, such as allergic rhinitis and sinusitis, it is recommended, as a preventive measure, to repeat at least 3 times a year a cycle consisting of the application of 1 ampoule per day for 15 days.

Warnings

The product is for external use only (nasal use); do not swallow; do not use the product if the container is damaged or not perfectly closed when it is first opened; the product is intended for use on intact mucosa; use the container in one subject only; use by children must be under the supervision of an adult; do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation; the expiry date indicated refers to the intact and correctly stored product; do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package; in case of adverse reactions stop treatment and consult your doctor; prolonged use of topical products can give rise to sensitization phenomena; in the event that such phenomena should occur, it is advisable to suspend the treatment and consult the doctor or pharmacist; do not use in children under the age of one year. For use in children under three years of age, for use in pregnancy and in case of concomitant pharmacological therapies, consult your doctor or pharmacist in advance; keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Side effects

There are no known or expected side effects related to the use of the product. The tests carried out on the product to date have not shown sensitization phenomena or other side effects. Any side effects found should be reported to the doctor or manufacturer.

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources, away from light. The expiry date indicated refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
