Neocate® LCP Nutricia Powder Food For Special Medical Purposes

Hypoallergenic food in powder form for infants, nutritionally complete, based on free synthetic amino acids, for the nutritional management of food allergy to cow's milk proteins (APLV), multiple intolerances to food proteins and / or gastrointestinal diseases that require a elementary diet.

Enriched with long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (arachidonic acid ARA and docosahexaenoic acid DHA) and nucleotides, nutrients present in breast milk useful for promoting cognitive and visual development.

Indications

NEOCATE LCP is an elementary diet based on free synthetic amino acids, for the diagnosis and diet therapy of infants with cow's milk protein allergy (APLV), multiple food allergies and gastrontestinal diseases in which an elementary diet is indicated (reflux disease gastroesophageal, eosinophilic esophagitis, proctocolitis, short bowel syndrome).
Indicated as the only food source. Suitable for the baby under one year of age. To be used under medical supervision.

Contraindications and precautions

Do not administer parenterally.

Dosage

The daily dose of Neocate LCP depends on the age, weight and health of the infant and must be determined by the doctor. The recommended reconstitution is 13.8% w / v and is obtained by adding a level scoop of powder (1 scoop = 4.6 g) every 30 ml of boiled water.
