PSILLIUM IN VEGETABLE CAPSULES

According to the Guidelines for a Healthy and Correct Nutrition (INRAN) the recommended daily intake of fiber is around 30 grams, a quantity higher than that which is usually taken in Italy. To ensure an adequate intake of fiber it is important to increase the quantity of cereals, legumes, vegetables and fruit and it is possible to complete the quota with a food supplement. Dietary fiber itself has no nutritional or energetic value but is equally very important for the regulation of various physiological functions in the body. Insoluble fiber (cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin) acts mainly on the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, while soluble fiber (pectins, gums and mucilages) regulates the absorption of some nutrients (for example sugars and fats) by reducing and slowing it down, thus contributing to the control of the level of glucose and cholesterol in the blood.

NEOPSILLIO is a food supplement based on the pericarp of psyllium seeds (Plantago psyllium L.). Psyllium , whose seeds are rich in fiber, has been used for millennia to promote the regularity of intestinal transit , contributing to the normal volume and consistency of faeces ; it has an emollient and soothing action on the digestive system . It intervenes in the modulation of nutrient absorption and promotes the correct metabolism of lipids and carbohydrates . Psyllium fiber also has a prebiotic effect . NEOPSILLIUM is not irritating as it does not contain the whole psyllium seed, but only the pericarp.

Powdered psyllium seed pericarp (Plantago psyllium L.). Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. Anti-caking agent: Vegetable magnesium stearate.

USAGE CAUTIONS

HOW TO USE

4 vegetarian capsules one hour before lunch and 4 vegetarian capsules one hour before dinner
Swallow 4 vegetarian capsules one hour before lunch and 4 vegetarian capsules one hour before dinner, with plenty of water. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
