Patients suffering from hypercatabolism, with neoplasms or who have undergone neurosurgery or ENT surgery may require high energy supplies and enteral nutrition, at least temporarily.
Nestlé Health Science has created Novasource GI Forte precisely for these situations, a high-calorie, balanced and complete food with the exclusive presence of the soluble fiber PHGG which regulates intestinal function. As the only source of food, the recommended dose is 1500ml; alternatively, it is possible to take the product as a supplement to one's diet - in a dose of 500ml per day, according to medical prescription.

Novasource GI Forte contains 3% of calories as soluble fiber: specifically, it is PHGG, or partially hydrolyzed guar gum. Finally, we remind you that Novasource GI Forte is gluten-free and suitable for lactose intolerant, given the clinically irrelevant traces of this element in it.
