WHAT IS PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY?

It is the morbid condition that results from a deterioration and malfunction of the peripheral nerves. These represent the component responsible for "communications" to the brain of various messages including MOTOR (eg skeletal muscle) and SENSITIVE (eg pain) stimuli.
