ECOLOGICAL THERMOMETER
Description
The mercury-free clinical thermometer is a device for measuring patient temperature and is suitable for measurements under the tongue, under the armpit or in the rectum.
1. Conditions of use: The measurement temperature range should be between 35°C and 42°C, and the ambient temperature (for mercury-free thermometer only) should be between 20°C and 30°C; If the temperature of the environment where the thermometer is stored is below 20°C, please leave the thermometer at a temperature between 20°C and 30°C for at least 1-2 hours, or between 30°C and 35 °C for ten minutes, before use or following any tests.
2. Keep the thermometer between -10°C and 42°C during storage and transportation.
3. Disposal of the thermometer: After use, shake the thermometer so that the metallic liquid flows down, then clean it and place it in a plastic case to avoid damage.
Firmly grasp the end of the thermometer with your thumb and forefinger and, being very careful, lightly shake the thermometer several times until the liquid drops.
Instructions for use
Operating mode
1. The liquid in the column must fall below the lowest mark of the scale before use, so clean and disinfect the clinical thermometer with medical alcohol, or place it on a sterilized plastic tube.
2. In case of oral measurement, be careful to correctly position the thermometer under the patient's tongue and ask him to close his mouth tightly.
3. When measuring rectally, it is recommended to apply a lubricant to the thermometer before inserting it into the anus.
4. When measuring under the armpit, be careful to position the thermometer correctly and ask the patient to tighten it well, so that it remains in place.
Please read the measurement taken by the clinical thermometer approximately 4 minutes after performing the above procedures.
Warnings
1. Warn patients not to chew, talk and play when the clinical thermometer is positioned only under the tongue.
2. Have children lie down so that they are calm and it is easier to hold the end of the clinical thermometer still in case of rectal use, to prevent it from being inserted too deeply or from slipping from the anus.
3. Avoid bathing, eating or smoking up to half an hour before measuring your body temperature.
4. This thermometer is not intended for special applications (e.g., premature infant thermometers, basal thermometers).
storage
Store away from sunlight. Keep in a cool and dry place.
Format
12 pieces.
