What is Normocis 400 and what is it used for?

Normocis is a food supplement useful for the control of hyperhomocysteinemia, a vascular risk factor and cognitive deficiencies in the elderly. It is also useful in the woman in the pre-conception period (at least three months) and in pregnancy in order to reduce the risks of neural tube defects (contains 400 µg of folic acid) and for the control of hyperhomocysteinemia.
Its formulation is based on Folic Acid (Vitamin B9), Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12), Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Betaine and Zincosubstances useful for the correct metabolism of Homocysteine.
Folic acid is indicated in the prevention of some birth defects; it decreases the risk of neural tube defects and, perhaps, other congenital malformations.
