Novalac Anti Regurgitation is a powdered food for special medical purposes containing starch, indicated to meet the nutritional needs of babies from 0 to 36 months in case of regurgitation. Novalac may be the only source of nourishment in infants from 0 to 6 months if breastfeeding is not possible. Subsequently, and on the advice of the doctor, Novalac Anti Regurgitation will be integrated into the child's diversified diet.

How to use

Always wash your hands before preparing the bottle.
Clean and sterilize the bottle, the teat and all the materials that are used.
Bring the water to a boil for 5 minutes and let it cool until it reaches a temperature of 40 ° C, or heat water with low mineral content (from a freshly opened bottle) up to 40 ° C.
Pour the necessary amount of water into the bottle.
Add the correct amount of Novelac powder using the measuring spoon included in the package. Level each scoop with a clean, dry knife without pressing the powder.
Close the bottle using the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder is completely dissolved, avoiding the formation of lumps. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized teat to the bottle.
Allow to cool until a temperature of 37 ° C is obtained. Check the temperature of the bottle by placing a drop of the product on the wrist. Use immediately.

Medium feeding schedule:

* as part of a diversified diet.
Reconstitution (13%): 1 level and unpressed scoop (4.3 g) for every 30 ml of water.
Use only the measuring cup provided with the product.
The number of meals should be adapted to the child's appetite on the advice of the doctor.

Warnings

Do not use after the date indicated under the jar.
Completely remove the metal foil when opening it for the first time. Close the jar after each use with the plastic lid.
Do not prepare the bottle in advance but always just before the meal.
Each meal must be consumed within one hour of preparation.
The product should not be reused when it remains in the bottle after feeding. Throw away the remaining quantity.
Do not use the bottle as a pacifier.
Don't add sugar.
The product is not suitable for tube feeding.
The product is not suitable for parenteral administration.
Given its particular composition, it may be necessary to shake Novelac Anti Regurgitation more than necessary to obtain a complete dissolution of the powder and in any case the powder could take on a different consistency compared to a standard formula.
To facilitate breastfeeding, it is recommended to use an adequate teat.
