NOVOX Touch Pocket Polyurethane Size L - Medical Device

Medical device for the treatment of finger injuries.
Medical device in the form of a tubular finger cover with closed end, disposable and internally coated with oily gel.
Thanks to the creation of a micro-environment favorable to the activation of the microcirculation and at the same time unfavorable to the proliferation of pathogens combined with the protective, barrier and soothing actions of olive oil enriched with oxygen, it promotes the healing of lesions and their correct cicatrization.
The shape of NovoX Touch Pocket is specifically designed to adapt to the anatomy of the fingers, both hands and feet.
Intended for the treatment of the following finger injuries:

• Superficial burns.
• Cuts and wounds of limited depth and extension.
• Superficial lesions (abrasions, and excoriations).

Non-sterile medical device, however any contamination of the lesion does not constitute a contraindication to the use of the device as the tests carried out have shown that the oxygen enriched oil has an intrinsic capacity to create an unfavorable environment for the proliferation of commonly present pathogens on skin lesions and therefore is intrinsically protected against contamination by such pathogens. It is suggested, as a precaution, to always clean and, if possible, disinfect the lesions before applying the device.

How to use

It must be replaced at least once every 48 hours.
Choose the size that best suits the size of the application area, making sure that the entire wound area can be covered.
For post-surgical wounds, it is recommended to apply it immediately after suturing the wound.
1. Before applying the device, wash and disinfect your hands thoroughly, if this is not possible wear disposable gloves to handle the device.
2. Clean and, if possible, disinfect the wound area, taking care to wipe off any excess disinfectant.
3. Open the package containing the device.
4. Remove the device taking care not to touch the soaked internal part which will come into contact with the wounds.
5. Verify that the device is long enough to cover the wound area. Any excess length can be cut after careful disinfection of the tools used (or using sterile tools), taking care not to damage the support or the internal and external lining fabrics. It is also possible to cut the device to remove the closed end, in case it is not necessary to protect the end of the finger.
6. Insert the device on the finger, paying attention not to deform or excessively bend the device itself and checking that there is a correct adherence to the area to be treated.

Components

Olive oil enriched with oxygen.

The device may contain traces (<0.4%) of the following allergens: citral, geraniol, citronellol, linalool, limonene.

Warnings

It must not be used in case of known hypersensitivity or previous allergic reaction to the device or its components.
Use should be avoided in case of previous severe skin reactions to the application of dressings.
Use should be subject to medical evaluation in case of known hypersensitivity to the dressings.
It has not been specifically tested on pregnant women. However, it is a topical device that has no systemic effects and consequently there are no contraindications for use during pregnancy. Store at temperatures below 25 ° C, in a cool and dry place away from heat sources. In case of high ambient temperatures it is recommended to store the product in the refrigerator (2-8 ° C).
