Complementary powdered food for dogs and cats, consisting of: thermo-inactivated microorganisms of Lactobacillus acidophilus DSM 13241 and a concentrate of free nucleotidyls obtained from dried yeasts.
It favors the correct balance of the intestinal flora, increases the growth of the villi and the replacement of intestinal cells. To be used in stressful conditions such as: convalescence from infectious processes, acute diarrhea, haemorrhagic diarrhea, prolonged fasting, weaning and growth of puppies.
It can represent a valid help in cases of:
-IBD Infectious processes of varying etiology with the presence or absence of diarrhea when the replacement of mucosal enterocytes is necessary;
-Development period of the animal;
Stress conditions such as:
weaning, change of diet, modification of the environment.
Lactobacillus acidophilus DSM 13241
Stabilized and inactivated by a heat treatment, it has the property, by means of its metabolic product with strong adhesive power, the bridging protein, of adhering to the brush border of the mucosal cells, preventing pathogenic germs from settling on the intestinal wall, while the medium of culture is deposited in the crypts, thus preventing the adhesion of both viruses and bacteria.
Nucleotides
They are the basic components of DNA and RNA nucleic acids and are indispensable for any form of cell replication. Alone or conjugated with other molecules, they are involved in practically all cellular activities. In tissues, with the exception of the liver, the demand for nucleotides is covered not only by synthesis but also by direct absorption of the digestive products. Some cells, for example lymphocytes and erythrocytes, are unable to synthesize purines (basiazotate of nucleotides). The cells of the intestinal mucosa do not produce enough purine to cover their needs. The nucleotides, consisting of a sugar, a nitrogen base and from one to three phosphate groups, are called purine when the nitrogen base is a purine, pyrimidine when the nitrogen base is a pyrimidine. If the sugar is ribose, they contribute to forming the RNA polynucleotide chain; if, on the other hand, the sugar is deoxyribose, they contribute to forming the DNA chain.

Ingrediants
Lactose; sucrose; talc; precipitated silica; whey granules containing 1 billion inactivated microbial bodies of Lactobacillus acidophilus DSM 13241 per gram; yeast extract titrated at 25% in Nucleotides.

How to use
Animals up to 10 kg in weight: 1 scoop per day.
Between 10 and 20 kg of weight: 2 scoops per day.
Over 20 kg in weight: 3 scoops per day.
Add the powder to the main meal.
