Nutramigen 1 LGG® Milk Powder

From birth up to 6 months

Nutramigen 1 LGG® is a hypoallergenic formula based on extensively hydrolyzed casein for the dietary management of cow's milk protein allergy in infants from birth to six months of life. It is a nutritionally complete formula, so it can be used as the sole source of nutrition to meet the daily needs of children with cow's milk allergy up to 6 months of age.

Nutramigen 1 LGG® is a dietary food for special medical purposes and should only be used under medical supervision.

Property

The cow's milk proteins contained in Nutramigen 1 LGG® have been crushed (or hydrolyzed) so that the immune system of most children with cow's milk allergy no longer recognizes them as harmful.

Nutramigen LGG® is a hypoallergenic formula that contains the probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (registered trademark LGG®); this combination promotes the dietary management of cow's milk protein allergy, helping infants to return to a normal diet more quickly.1

For the right quantities of boiled water and powder, follow the instructions below, unless otherwise instructed by the pediatrician. The feeding information provided here and on the product jars is intended as a guide only. The child may need other quantities than those indicated - the pediatrician will be able to advise you if different quantities are needed.

† Use only the measuring cup included in the jar to measure the powder. A level and uncompressed measuring spoon (4.5 g) is added to every 30 ml of water.

Preparation

Nutramigen 1 LGG® has specific preparation instructions. Carefully follow the instructions for preparation and use.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly. Wash and boil bottles, teats, ferrules, caps and utensils in water for 1 minute.
2. Boil more water for one minute and let it cool to room temperature before starting the preparation. Pour the right amount of cooled water into the bottle.
3. Add the right amount of powder to the water (see feeding table). Store the dry measuring cup in the jar.
4. Close the bottle, first rotate it in your hands and then shake it vigorously. Check the temperature on the inside of the wrist.
5. The product, after being prepared, is subject to rapid deterioration. Administer immediately after preparation, otherwise cover the preparation and store it in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-4 ° C for no more than 24 hours.

• Do not freeze the prepared formula and do not use it if it has been out of the refrigerator for more than 2 hours.
• Use the preparation that has been in contact with the infant's mouth within 1 hour and do not place the bottle in the refrigerator. Throw away any residual product in the bottle and carefully clean the utensils.
• Do not use microwave ovens to heat the preparation
