How do the components of blefactive ophthalmic lipogel work?

Liposomes , formed by a double layer of phospholipids, are known for their soothing and emollient properties, as well as their ability to act as a carrier and to make the substances conveyed more bioavailable.

Tea Tree Oil , extracted from Melaleuca alternifolia, is known for its antimicrobial and antiparasitic properties.

Alpha Bisabolol is the main component of chamomile essential oil. It has soothing properties, reduces skin redness and eliminates inflammation, even in the case of particularly delicate skin. It is characterized by great skin tolerability.

Xanthan gum is a polymer of natural origin that has been shown to protect the eyelid and periocular surface from oxidative stress.

Vitamin A , known for its regulatory function, has shown re-epithelizing activity, normalizing epidermal turnover and promoting the maintenance of the integrity and functionality of the skin. Vitamin A also acts in synergy with liposomes in protecting cells from free radical damage and aging.

THERAPEUDIC INDICATIONS

BLEF Active Ophthalmic Lipogel is indicated for the removal of desquamation residues of the eyelid surface in case of infiimmatory phenomena such as blepharitis or blepharoconjunctivitis.

BLEF Active Ophthalmic Lipogel can be useful as an adjuvant for the maintenance of pre- and post-operative asepsis.

COMPOSITION OF THE PRODUCT

Phospholipids S80 1%, Tea Tree Oil 0.05% Bisabolol 0.1%, Xanthan Gum 1%, Vitamin A Palmitate 0.01%, EDTA disodium dihydrate, Potassium sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, N-hydroxymethylglycinate, distilled water.

HOW DO I USE blefactive ophthalmic lipogel?

In a very simple way just follow these simple steps for a right application

• Wash your hands thoroughly;
• Pour a small amount of product on your fingers;
• Gently distribute on the eyelids and the eyelid rim with circular movements;
• Leave on for a few minutes and rinse with warm water if necessary.

WARNINGS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS ARISING FROM THE APPLICATION OF THE PRODUCT

• Discontinue treatment in case of hypersensitivity.
• Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
• Keep away from sources of heat, humidity, direct sunlight and the reach of children.
• Do not swallow.
• Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
• In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.
