Food supplement based on Bioflavonoids, Zeaxanthin, Vitamin C and Oligopin, indicated in cases of increased need or decreased intake with the diet of the nutrients that compose it. Natural remedy to protect the main biochemical processes related to correct functionality of the retina and lens, preventing or minimizing the damage induced by free radicals. Vasoprotector in the prevention of diabetic retinopathy and in the protection from oxidative stress of biochemical processes related to a correct function of the retina and lens, in particular in elderly patients or with other vascular risk factors (smoking, overweight, hypertension).
Bioflavonoids Diosmin and Troxerutin are the 2 most potent bioflavonoids existing in nature. They have a marked economizing effect of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) provided with the diet, antioxidant and increase in venulo-capillary resistance.
Zeaxanthin
Zeaxanthin is a stereoisomer of lutein, it belongs to the family of carotenoids and in particular to the class of xanthophylls which have strong antioxidant properties. Zeaxanthin and lutein make up the macula pigments and are abundant in fruit and vegetables. Zeaxanthin is a powerful antioxidant capable of neutralizing the reactive oxygen species that form during metabolic processes and due to light radiation with particular wavelength (blue light). Its regular intake therefore ensures on the structures of the eye (retina, lens) an important function of protection from oxidative damage, with a useful action to protect the retina in diabetic patients.
C vitamin
It enhances the action of zeaxanthin and acts by normalizing numerous metabolic reactions and slowing down the aging and cellular degeneration processes caused by the production of free radicals. It intervenes inside cells and in intercellular spaces, protecting them from the oxidative insult of free radicals.
Oligopin
It is an extract of the French maritime pine bark, rich in particular substances of oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC's), with antioxidant properties. The OPC's bind to the mucopolysaccharides of the membranes of the blood vessels, with an increase in the resistance of the peripheral capillaries and therefore a decrease in capillary permeability.

How to use
We recommend taking 1 tablet a day, with a sip of water, after one of the main meals.

Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
