COSMECEUTICAL SYNERGY

An alipic skin is a skin that has a particularly weakened epidermal barrier and which, consequently, manifests a greater predisposition to premature aging. This type of skin is therefore particularly exposed to damage caused by external agents.

The first action necessary in this case is the nourishing one, that is to make lipids and fatty acids - thus restoring the hydrolipidic film. In our cosmeceutical the nourishing activity is carried out by the passionflower oil: an active principle capable of restoring the fatty substances absent on the epidermal barrier , whose activity is completed by the purely restructuring and anti-wrinkle of the two peptides Syniorage and the Dermican. In cases of alipic skin, in fact, the greatest predisposition to premature aging occurs through the collapse of the skin structure and a consequent relaxation of the skin. The result of the actions of the two peptides is an intense anti- wrinkle activity and a more elastic and nourished skin. Finally, to enrich the treatment, candelilla wax which by retaining hydration plays a particularly important role in the presence of alipic skin, contributing to the homeostasis of the skin barrier.

PASSIFLORA OIL is a vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of the homonymous plant known to reduce the loss of transepidermal water from the skin. It is an oil rich in fatty acids and in particular in linoleic acid. This fat is essential for the epidermal barrier, since in its absence the skin becomes scaly and alipic.

SYNERGIC FUNCTIONALS

SYNIORAGE ™ is an active principle in peptide form, which has an elasticizing action, thanks to the ability to strengthen the adhesion of the epidermis and the junction of the dermis, following the synthesis of Syndecan-1 and collagen XVII in the epidermis.

DERMICAN ™ is a peptide, which increases the production of lumicans, a proteoglycan that plays a role in the synthesis of collagen fibers. It attaches itself to collagen fibrils, connecting them to each other. This reduces the space between the fibrils, forming functional collagen fibers and allowing the skin to be more restructured and firmer .

CANDELILLA WAX is an extract from the leaves and branches of Euphorbia cerifera, with a film- forming action that acts as a “barrier” for the skin and retains its moisture.
