Methylsulfonylmethane * (MSM) is an organic sulfur-based compound. During the cooking and preparation of food, the sulfur is easily degraded.
Sulfur is present in keratins, essential proteins for the constitution of nails and hair. It is also physiologically present at the joint level, being part of the chondroitin sulfate, a precious constituent molecule of cartilage. MSM also intervenes in maintaining the levels of reduced glutathione (GSH), substantially naturally produced by our body for antioxidant and detoxifying purposes, in fact it also favors the elimination of heavy metals from the body.
