Property
Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (EPA and DHA) : they are fundamental constituents of cell membranes and precursors of a class of cellular messengers called icosanoids that play a crucial role in the regulation of a myriad of physiological functions. EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA.
Borage oil : extracted from the seeds of Borago officinalised, it is useful for the integrity of cell membranes, skin trophism and joint function. Borage oil is rich in acidogamma-linolenic (omega-6 GLA) which in our body is converted into homo-gamma-linolenic acid (DGLA), precursor of the eicosanoids of series 1.
Polygonum cuspidatum : is a plant used in traditional Chinese medicine for its tonic antioxidant (useful for physical and mental fatigue) and purifying properties of the body and for maintaining the functionality of the cardiovascular system. Polygonum cuspidatum extract is rich in resveratrol, an active compound belonging to the class of polyphenols also contained in red wine. Resveratrol is credited with explaining the so-called "French paradox". The French, despite a diet rich in saturated fat which also includes a regular consumption of red wine, enjoy better cardiovascular health than other populations with comparable consumption of saturated fat (American, British, German, etc.).
Curcuma longa : is a plant belonging to the same family as the ginger (Zingiberaceae) traditionally used in India as a remedy for various ailments as well as a spice and dye. It has digestive properties, is useful for maintaining joint function and as an antioxidant. The characteristic bright yellow color is due to the presence of polyphenolic pigments known as curcuminoids. Curcumin is the most abundant and most active curcuminoid which has shown in vitro good ability to inhibit enzymes (lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase) and neutralize free radicals responsible for oxidative damage to cells and cellular structures.
Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) : alpha-lipoic acid is a compound naturally present in our body that plays a crucial role in the reactions that lead to the production of energy from glucose. In addition to this function, the body uses free alpha-lipoic acid to counteract the formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), to chelate metal ions, to repair oxidized proteins and to regenerate other antioxidant compounds, both exogenous and endogenous, such as glutathione, vitamin C and E.
Tocopherols and tocotrienols : these are the forms with which vitamin E is present in nature, which acts as a scavenger of free radicals, contributing to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Coenzyme Q10 : is a fundamental constituent of the mitochondrial energy production chain. It favors the transformation of the nutrients introduced with the diet into energy that can be easily spent by the cells (in the form of adenosine triphosphate-ATP).
Vitamin B12 : it is an important vitamin for numerous reactions that occur in our body. It intervenes in the red blood cell production process, in the normal energy metabolism and in the cell division process favoring cell regeneration. Vitamin B12 also contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Piperine : increases the bioavailability of all nutrients, but in particular of coenzyme Q10 and curcumin.

How to use
We recommend 1-2 capsules a day to be taken shortly before a main meal.
Simultaneous administration with meals favors the absorption of active ingredients.
