EYE DROPS

CE medical device, class IIa, based on hyaluronic acid, citicoline and vitamin B12. OMK2 is a 0.2% ophthalmic solution of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, obtained by biotechnological synthesis. Hyaluronic acid gives rise to mucomimetic, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic solutions, useful for improving the stability of the tear film, so as to keep the ocular surface lubricated, hydrated and protected. Furthermore, solutions based on hyaluronic acid are able to establish a microenvironment favorable to the repair processes of the ocular surface in cases of damage to the corneal and conjunctival epithelia. The presence of citicoline in OMK2 confers a useful and favorable structural support in restoring the integrity of cell membranes also damaged by degenerative ophthalmic diseases (eg glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy). Finally, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) promotes the growth of the cells of the corneal epithelium, protects the cells from the action of free radicals and is an important element for maintaining correct functionality of the ocular surface.
The humectant and protective properties of OMK2 confer ocular relief in the case of irritation, burning and sensation of a foreign body due to environmental factors or prolonged use of the screen. OMK2 indirectly favors the physiological processes of corneal re-epithelialization after eye surgery, laser or small abrasions of the corneal surface.

How to use
Instill 1 drop of OMK2 2-3 times a day, as needed.

Warnings
Do not use if the bottle is damaged. Do not use in case of incompatibility with any component of the preparation. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not touch the eyes with the tip of the container. After administration, temporary blurring of vision may occur. It is therefore convenient to wait a few seconds before undertaking any activity that requires visual clarity. Allow 10-15 minutes after use before instilling drugs for external ophthalmic use. The product must be used within 30 days of first opening the bottle. Keep the preparation out of the reach and sight of children. The product is for external ophthalmic use only. Do not dispose of the bottle in the environment after use.
