For whom it is indicated
The intestinal microbiota not only regulates intestinal function but, through the so-called gut-brain axis , it also affects mood , emotions and cognitive performance . In fact, the gut has over one hundred million neurons, which is why it is called the " second brain ". The two brains, the central one and that of the intestine, are connected to each other by the vagus nerve and are in continuous two-way communication. Suffice it to say that 95% of serotonin , the good mood hormone, is produced by cells distributed right along the intestinal mucosa and that the presence in the intestine of melatonin , the sleep hormone, is 400 times higher than that present in the central brain!
How to take it
Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair (= 3 g) in approximately 125 ml of water, mix, wait at least 1 minute (activation time), then mix again and drink. To be taken 1-2 times a day, preferably on an empty stomach. If you take OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair 2 times a day, it is recommended to do it in the morning before breakfast and in the evening before dinner. OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair is also indicated in children over the age of one.
OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair contains minimal amounts of dietary fibers (e.g. fructo-oligosaccharides and inulin) which serve as food for bacteria. By extending the activation time to 30 minutes, the bacteria almost completely metabolize these substances and only single molecules reach the intestine.
