OMRON M3 is a fully automatic electronic arm blood pressure monitor (sphygmomanometer) that works thanks to the oscillometry principle: it measures blood pressure and pulse rate quickly and easily.

How to use

Application of the bracelet

Do not wear clothing that tightens the upper arm or with the sleeve rolled up tight. Do not put the cuff over thick clothing. Wear the bracelet on the upper part of the arms; the lower part of the bracelet must be above the elbow, about 1-2 cm. Close the velcro securely.

Sit properly

S eduti in a comfortable and relaxed position with a straight back, a comfortable room temperature. In the 30 minutes preceding the measurement do not bathe, do not take alcoholic or caffeinated drinks, do not smoke, exercise or eat. Keep your feet flat on the floor. The cuff should be at the same level as the heart.

Measurement

While detecting, stay still. Press the O / I START button: the cuff starts to inflate automatically; the Dual Check System indicator lights up and the appliance starts detecting any device errors. If the device is accurate and functioning correctly, the Dual Check System indicator light remains on during the measurement. If an error is detected, the Dual Check System light flashes and the indication "Er" appears on the display.

Warnings

It is recommended to measure your blood pressure at least two hours after waking up, not too late in the evening, and between meals.
