What is Onligol used for?

Onligol is a laxative composed exclusively of a molecule called Macrogol 4000. It contains neither electrolytes nor flavors.

Onligol is a valid help for those suffering from constipation or chronic constipation:

• for women, who are much more affected than men;
• for the elderly, who often have a low-fiber diet or take drugs that cause constipation;
• for children;
• for diabetics;
• for pregnant women.

When is Onligol used?

Onligol is an osmotic laxative: it absorbs water, hydrates the stool, increases its volume and reduces its consistency, facilitating evacuation.
Onligol acts mechanically.
The Macrogol molecule is like a sponge: once ingested, it is not absorbed and metabolized by the intestinal bacteria and is filled with water.

Thanks to this mechanical absorption mechanism, which does not interfere with the organism, Onligol offers a series of easily verifiable advantages of use:

• it gives no sense of urgency
• it does not generate gas and does not give rise to bloating and flatulence
• does not cause cramps
• it does not lose its action over time.

The absence of aroma has an additional advantage. Onligol is tasteless, odorless and does not alter the taste of drinks: it dissolves in any liquid, even hot, water, tea, broth, juice of fruit.

Dosage and method of use of Onligol

The dose for adults and children weighing more than 20 kg is one sachet 1-3 times a day according to individual response; in case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 1 sachet 1-2 times a day, even every other day, preferably in the evening. In children older than two years, the dosage should be commensurate with body weight.

Dissolve Onligol sachets by mixing the powder into any drink. The content of one sachet (10g) is dissolved in about 125ml (a glass) of water or drinks, even hot, such as tea, herbal tea, milk, broth or fruit juice. Onligol does not alter the taste of the drink. Drink the reconstituted solution. It is recommended to take Onligol between meals.

Use is not recommended under two years. Do not exceed the maximum dosage of 30g per day. Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet.
