OPTIVE® Eye Gel Multidose Drops 10 ml. is a multidose, lubricating and osmoprotective sterile solution, indicated for the treatment of dry eye symptoms . It lubricates the ocular surface and hydrates the epithelial cells by restoring the osmotic balance, it also protects the tear film by improving the lipid layer, in fact it presents an innovative lipid transfer system that integrates the lipid layer of the tear film, reducing evaporation and maintaining the eye hydrated longer. OsmoMax dual action osmoprotection technology, which primarily hydrates and lubricates the surface of the eye and secondly contains molecules that penetrate deep into the eye and hydrate the epithelial cells of the cornea to prevent damage. Provides long lasting relief for day and night.

OPTIVE® Eye Gel Multidose Drops 10 ml. is a solution formulated with the patented Purite® protective complex which immediately after exposure to light (when you put the drops) degrades into the natural components of the tear film (water and sodium chloride) and in this way is comparable to preparations without preservatives.

How to use

It is recommended to instill 1/2 drops into the lower conjunctival sac of each eye, repeating the administration as needed throughout the day.

Warnings

To avoid contamination or possible eye injury, do not rest the vial tip on any surface and avoid direct contact with the eyes. Wait 5 minutes before administering another ophthalmic product. Do not use if the solution changes color.

Composition

Sodium carboxymethylcellulose 1%, glycerin 0.9%, erythrol, levocarnitine, boric acid, sodium borate decahydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, purified water, Purite 0.01%. as a preservative.
