Property

Serrapeptosis (also known as Serratio-peptidase Serratia E-15 protease orSerralysin), is a proteolytic enzyme produced and obtained by some species of Serratia an enterobacterium serratia E-15. The enzyme has an anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, proteolytic and fibrinolytic action and most of the effects are related to the antibradykinin activity.
Alpha-lipoic acid participates in various anti-oxidative mechanisms such as the reduction of glutathione (GSH) and ascorbic acid. Alpha-lipoic acid is a cofactor of numerous enzymes involved in the oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate and other ketoacids, being continuously regenerated there. It also plays an important role in glucose control and in the prevention of diseases such as cataracts and stroke.
Bromelain is used in dyspepsia, often in association with pancreatic extracts, but its main use is as an anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous. It is particularly used in the treatment of inflammatory conditions of the soft tissues associated with trauma, in localized inflammation, especially in the presence of edema, and in post-operative tissue reactions. The properties of bromelain induce antithrombotic and hypotensive activity and the ability to stabilize atherosclerotic plaques.
Ornithine is an amino acid produced by the enzyme arginase on L-arginine, which creates ornithine and urea and allows the elimination of excess nitrogen. It has similar effects to arginine, but appears to be doubly effective and together with L-aspartate it is effective as an ammonia detoxifier and promotes wound healing.
