Properties of Osmin Top Biogenic Ointment
Osmin Top Unguento is a non-greasy ointment, an intensive adjuvant for the acute phases of mild and moderate Atopic Dermatitis. Based on Glycerol-Phospho-Inositol (GPI), Perilla Frutescens extract and barrier restorative complex.
It quickly restores the altered skin defenses and thanks to the exclusive association of GPI and Perilla Frutescens extract it helps to soothe irritation and calm burning and itching.
Composition of Osmin Top Biogenic Ointment
- Glycerol-Phospho-Inositol (GPI): substance of natural origin (obtained starting from the lecithin of sunflower seeds) which has been shown to intervene in the inflammatory process in an absolutely physiological way without giving rise to the typical secondary effects of anti-inflammatory substances of the cortisone type;
- Perilla Frutescens Extract: rich in fatty acids and polyphenols, which exerts an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action synergistic with GPI;
- Restorative barrier complex: made up of Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids (Omega 3, 6 and 9), Ceramides and Phytosterols; essential for the reconstruction and reintegration of the skin barrier.
How to use Osmin Top Biogena Ointment
It is recommended to apply the product in these ways,
After a delicate cleansing, apply a thin layer 2 times a day on the areas to be treated, a thin layer of cream, massaging gently.
Clinical Evidence for Osmin Top Biogenic Ointment
Study on a sample of 248 patients of both sexes, with mild and moderate atopic dermatitis who applied Osmin Top Ointment twice a day for at least 15 days.
The study found the following:
- Erythema reduction (-62%)
- Dryness reduction (-63%)
- Itching reduction (-68%)
Open clinical study on an adjuvant treatment based on Glycerol-Phospho-Inositol and Perilla Frutescens extract in mild and moderate Atopic Dermatitis.
