Liquid Paraffin (Vaseline Oil)
Stool softener, laxative.
Vaseline oil is a traditional remedy widely used in medical practice, to facilitate the emptying of feces in case of persistent constipation. The oil used is of the pharmaceutical type, that is, subjected to refining to achieve high purity parameters. Odorless, tasteless, it is very stable and therefore has no storage problems. Taken in the morning, it produces a sliding effect in the intestinal tract, which allows the stool to pass more quickly.
As an alternative to pure vaseline oil, today "Mixture 3 Oli" is preferred, due to the association between paraffin oil and vegetable source oils.
