Pediapeg

Product for the treatment of constipation.

Thanks to its affinity for water, PediaPEG® softens the stool, facilitating evacuation, does not cause cramps, abdominal pain, emergency conditions. PediaPEG® is not absorbed in the intestine and is expelled in an unaltered form. Useful in cases of occasionally irregular bowel and for the treatment of chronic constipation.

Composition

PediaPEG® contains 6,563 g of Macrogol 3350 (Polyethylene glycol) per sachet.

PediaPEG® is gluten-free and lactose-free.

Ingrediants

Macrogol 3350. Excipients: silicon dioxide, flavor, sodium saccharin.

How to use

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, it is advisable to use PediaPEG® in the following ways:

- children from 2 to 6 years (weighing> 10 kg): 1 sachet per day;

- children from 7 to 11 years: 1 sachet 2 times a day;

- from 12 years: 2 sachets 1-3 times a day. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 2-4 sachets per day.

It is recommended to dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 62.5 ml (about half a glass of still water). The use of PediaPEG® is not recommended for children under 2 years of age and weighing less than 10 kg.
