Pasta produced with durum wheat semolina and barley flour with a high content of beta-glucans. Barley beta-glucans have been shown to reduce blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor for the development of coronary heart disease. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of barley beta-glucans (equal to a portion of 100g of CuoreMio pasta) in the context of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
