PENTAFLOR capsules and sachets is a supplement consisting of a mixture of lactic ferments (S.Termophilus, L. Acidophilus, L. Lactis, L. Casei, L. Salivarius, L. Bulgaricus, L. Rhamnosus, L. Plantarum and L. Brevis .), Vit. C, Magnesium, Inulin and Folic acid. The lactic ferments used, due to their structural characteristics, are able to resist gastric acidity and arrive almost entirely in the intestine. Each of these lactobacilli has a different "destination": the l. rhamnosus and the l. acidophilus colonize the small intestine; the B. bifidum, together with brevis and lactis, colonizes the colon; (the stomach and duodenum are relatively poor in lactobacilli).

FUNCTIONS : In addition to the fact that all lactobacilli have the ability to produce lactic acid and therefore to acidify the intestine, thus making the environment inhospitable for pathogenic bacteria, each of them performs a specific function: the l. RHAMNOSUS has a specific action against SALMONELLE, SHIEGELLE, CANDIDA and ESCHERICHIA COLI. B. BREVIS has the ability to proliferate very quickly in the colon by immediately implementing its protective action. The l. LACTIS and the l. CASEI are highly effective against bloating and abdominal pain. B. BIFIDUM is considered the most abundant lactobacillus present in the colon of the healthy child and regulates its intestinal functions. L. ACIDOPHILUS has an antimicrobial and antiviral activity; it is used in acne and herpes.
