PENTAFLOR drops can be used in neonatology, pediatrics and geriatrics. It is stabilized with an innovative substance: trehalose. Trehalose is a disaccharide, considered a safe product that can be used as a stabilizer and / or food additive. In the preservation of fruit and vegetables, for example, it is used as a preservative, as it helps to maintain the natural structure of proteins and phospholipids.The addition of trehalose effectively counteracts the oxidation and degradation of the ingredients (and therefore maintains them the activity). Trehalose allows to maintain the organoleptic characteristics of the products unaltered even after heating and prolonged storage processes (a process known as cryptobiosis).
