PeriNERV GEL
Topical gel based on a topical vegetable complex which helps the reactivation of skin microcirculation with revulsive action (capsaicin-TRPV receptors) and anti-inflammatory (elenalin from mountain arnica, spireaoside from spirea olearia, salicin from bark willow, boswellic acids from boswellia serrata).Echinacea, for external use, is indicated for general inflammations of the skin. The essential oil of origanum vulgare containing beta-caryophyllene, usually used for frictions and massages, in addition to having analgesic properties, also performs circulatory stimulating actions. The gel formulation aims to counteract, viatopic, the local hyperalgesia caused by inflammation resulting from hyper-reactivity of the dermo-epidermal tissues, taking into account the following events, observed during the inflammatory process.
The vasoactive substances released at the level of the peripheral endings due to an exaggerated local inflammatory response towards pathogenic noxae, can establish an increased permeability of the microcirculation with painful manifestations that can be caused by the direct sensitization of nociceptors and low-threshold mechanoreceptors by neurotrophins or vasoactive substances themselves.
A high concentration of neuromediators and cytokines are potentially responsible both for the alteration of the microcirculation, a fundamental prerequisite of subcutaneously appreciable edema, and for the painful symptoms.
The sensitization of nociceptors and low-threshold mechanoreceptors can, in fact, determine the release of some polypeptide neuromediators present at this level, such as substance P and the calcitonin gene-related peptide, believed to be involved both in the genesis of the altered pain perception (allodynia), and in the determinism of the microcirculation disorder, understood in terms of vasodilation and increase in permeability (Neurogenic phlogistic theory).
The hypoxic phenomena evidenced by the reduced blood extraction of oxygen and the local increase of lactic acid would in turn determine the release of some local mediators, by the monocyte-macrophage population of the medullary and deimastocytes. These local mediators, such as prostaglandin E2, bradykinin, tumornecrosis factor α (TNFα) and interleukin 6 (IL-6) being able to maintain the alterations of the microcirculation, hyperalgesia, the local production of substance P and calcitonin gene-related peptide, perpetuate the nociceptive stimulus and the disturbance of the microcirculation itself.
How to use
Apply the gel on the skin area where the painful sensation is felt, massaging gently until completely absorbed. Apply the product 3 times a day (3-5 days) until the pain subsides and then twice a day for a total of 15 days or according to the doctor's advice.
